Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz was the first in Poland and in this part of Europe to perform an implantation of InCraft® – an innovative, ultra-low-profile stent-graft. The team was headed by prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Jawień, head of the Department of Vascular Surgery and Angiology and of the Centre for Medical Education in English of the NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz.

New International Students

Jawien speakingThe beginning of the new academic year is fast approaching. The halls and lecture rooms of Collegium Medicum will soon be teeming with students. A group of 46 first year English-speaking students will be among them, commencing their 6-year Medical Program in English. The freshmen have arrived from such countries as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, UK, Italy, USA, Canada, India and Poland.
