The official visit of Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland, added splendour to the event and made it particularly memorable in the annals of Collegium Medicum.
15th October 2015 marked the official opening ceremony of the new hospital facility of the University Hospital no. 1 in Bydgoszcz. The official visit of Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland, added splendour to the event and made it particularly memorable in the annals of Collegium Medicum.
The newly erected building, located on the premises of the University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz, was handed over for use by the Department of Psychiatry, Department of Geriatrics, Department of Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Immunodermatology, and Department of Palliative Care.
The investment was carried out by NCU Collegium Medicum as part of the Long-Term Medical Program for Extension and Redevelopment of the University Hospital in Bydgoszcz financed from state budget. The total budget allocated for the Program amounts to PLN 326 million. The expenditure on the new hospital facility was nearly PLN 94 million, out of which 1.8 million was the University’s own contribution.
