The facility was handed over to Collegium Medicum in 2008 by the municipality of Bydgoszcz. Having obtained funding from the Ministry of Health, EU Structural Funds and the Municipal Office of Bydgoszcz, together with its own contribution, the University carried out a major renovation to the building, valued at 16 million PLN for the construction work and 8 million PLN for furnishings and equipment.

The refurbished four-storey building, located at 1 Łukasiewicza Street, has a total floor area of 3,419.18 sq m and a parking lot with 80 places. It houses a large lecture hall, rooms for classes and seminars, several medical simulation laboratories, a simulation outpatient clinic, four air-conditioned dissecting rooms, a leisure room for students, and the offices of the following Collegium Medicum units:

  • Department of Oncology, Radiotherapy and Oncological Gynaecology
