Bydgoszcz St. Patrick’s Days

St. Patrick’s Day is undoubtedly one of the most popular festivities celebrated internationally. This year, for the first time, the joyful atmosphere also reached Bydgoszcz. Various events and attractions were prepared especially for Bydgoszcz St. Patrick’s Days, which were held on 18-19 March 2016. The event was combined with the visit of a group of Irish candidates for the Medical Program in English at Collegium Medicum.


A Chance for Nepal

We would like to invite you to a unique photography exhibition entitled „The Nepalis”, which will be hosted by Collegium Medicum as a tribute to the victims of the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. It will be held from 17 March 2016 in Building A at 13 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz.

The event will be held on 18-19 March 2016 in the Old Market Square and other locations around Bydgoszcz. It will feature a variety of attractions that will bring you closer to the Irish culture through this joyful international festival.


New Rector Elected

Prof. dr hab. Andrzej Tretyn has been elected as Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University for the term 2016-2020. The electoral meeting was held on 10 March 2016 in Toruń. Prof. Andrzej Tretyn was the only candidate nominated for the post. 231 electors were present: 166 voted for, 53 voted against, and 12 abstained. This is the second term of Prof. Andrzej Tretyn as the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. He has held the office since 2012.

#MyNCU – contest for overseas students

A photography contest "#MyNCU" starts on 1 March 2016 for overseas students studying at the NCU. The prizes include invitations to cultural and sports events in Toruń and several gadgets. The last round of the competition finishes on May 31st, 2016.
