On March 17, one of the most popular and joyful festivals will be celebrated all over the world – the Feast of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Before joining in the festivities and in order to grasp their true meaning, let us find out why St. Patrick is such a significant part of the Irish culture.


#MyNCU – contest for overseas students

A photography contest "#MyNCU" starts on 1 March 2016 for overseas students studying at the NCU. The prizes include invitations to cultural and sports events in Toruń and several gadgets. The last round of the competition finishes on May 31st, 2016.


Rector’s Hours

By the decision of the University’s authorities, there will be Rector’s hours (hours without classes) on 31st March 2016 (Tuesday) between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. for the students of Collegium Medicum. This is due to the Open Day event which will be held in Collegium Medicum on that day.


Easter Donation

Student members of IMFSA-Poland Bydgoszcz would like to encourage you to take part in the Easter Basket charity campaign aimed at helping those in need. All donations, collected in special baskets, will go to the Charity Society [Stowarzyszenie Miłosierdzia] of the St. Vincent de Paul Basilica in Bydgoszcz and distributed among the needy.


Centre for Medical Simulation

On 1st March 2016, a significant agreement was signed between prof. Jan Styczyński, Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, and Michał Kępowicz, Director of the Department of European Funds of the Ministry of Health. The contract ensures the financing of the project entitled “Development of medical teaching through instructional simulation at the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum”.


Join iMEDIC 2016 Bydgoszcz

We are delighted to invite you to the International MEDical Interdisciplinary Congress – iMEDIC 2016 Bydgoszcz. The event will be held on 11 June 2016 in the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. iMEDIC 2016 Bydgoszcz is an excellent opportunity for PhD students and young scientists to present scientific papers covering issues in the field of medical, pharmaceutical and health sciences.


Innovative Treatment of Stroke

A team of specialists from the University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz was the first in the region to perform an innovative endovascular procedure in a patient with cerebral stroke. The team included medical professionals from the Centre for Interventional Management of Stroke and Interventional Radiology Laboratory functioning within the Hospital.
