University Hospitals Awarded

Collegium Medicum students receive best-quality vocational education and practical training – clichéd as the words might seem, we have yet another proof that they are genuine and sincere. Once again, our University Hospitals in Bydgoszcz received top national awards for health care institutions maintaining high quality standards.


New International Students

The beginning of the new academic year is fast approaching. The halls and lecture rooms of Collegium Medicum will soon be teeming with students. A group of 46 first year English-speaking students will be among them, commencing their 6-year Medical Program in English. The freshmen have arrived from such countries as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, UK, Italy, USA, Canada, India and Poland.


New Academic Building

16th September 2015 marked an important event in the history of Collegium Medicum – the official opening of a new academic building in the city of Bydgoszcz at 1 Łukasiewicza Street.


Preparatory Course for the new students

The Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz will welcome soon newly admitted students for the 6-year MD Program in English. Preparatory Course for the English Division students will start on 5th September 2016 in the assembly room of the Student’s House no. 3 at al. Powstańców Wielkopolskich 46, 10.00 a.m.


First English Division Graduates

26th June 2015 marked a momentous event in the history of NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. The first graduates of the 6-year MD Program in English received their higher education diplomas and hearty rounds of applause during their graduation ceremony, held in accordance with the Polish tradition. Fourfold Success at Anatomy Competition

We are proud to announce that once again both Polish and English-speaking students of the 1st year of the medical programme at NCU Collegium Medicum achieved a notable success at the National Inter-University Anatomy Competition Scapula Aurea and Golden Scapula. This year’s edition, held in Bydgoszcz between 29-31 May 2015, was organised by the Department of Normal Anatomy of NCU Collegium Medicum.

We are proud to announce that the Department of Normal Anatomy of the NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz is the organizer of this year’s edition of the Inter-University Anatomy Competition Scapula Aurea and Golden Scapula. This annually-held contest is addressed to Polish-language (Scapula Aurea) and English-language (Golden Scapula) students of medicine, and each participating medical university is represented by a team of four pre-selected students.
