Students for the Needy

Cultivating the true Christmas spirit, we would like to encourage you to take part in the Students for the Needy charity campaign whose main aim is to bring Christmas to those in need. All donations will go to the Charity Society and will be distributed among the most deprived members of the community.Campaign duration: 30 November - 11 December 2015.Preferred donations: food with long best-before dates, clothes, blankets, household and cleaning products.

Innovative Surgery in Our University Hospital

A team of vascular surgeons from the A. Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz was the first in Poland and in this part of Europe to perform an implantation of InCraft® - an innovative, ultra-low-profile stent-graft. The team was headed by prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Jawień, head of the Department of Vascular Surgery and Angiology and of the Centre for Medical Education in English of the NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz.


Rector’s Hours

By the decision of the University’s authorities, 2nd November 2015 (Monday) will be a day without classes for all students of the Toruń and Bydgoszcz campuses. The University’s administration offices will be open as usual.


Grand Opening by the President of Poland

15th October 2015 marked the official opening ceremony of the new hospital facility of the University Hospital no. 1 in Bydgoszcz. The official visit of Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland, added splendour to the event and made it particularly memorable in the annals of Collegium Medicum.


Matriculation at the Faculty of Medicine

The official matriculation ceremony for the Polish and international students of the Faculty of Medicine took place on 2nd October 2015 in the Main Lecture Room at 13 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz.


University Hospitals Awarded

Collegium Medicum students receive best-quality vocational education and practical training – clichéd as the words might seem, we have yet another proof that they are genuine and sincere. Once again, our University Hospitals in Bydgoszcz received top national awards for health care institutions maintaining high quality standards.
