We are pleased to present the results of the 2nd edition of the photography competition entitled ‘The Amazing World of Medicinal Plants’. The competition was organised by The Student Research Club for Pharmaceutical Botany at the Chair and Department of Biology and Pharmaceutical Botany and held under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, prof. dr hab. Stefan Kruszewski.

Dr hab. Michał Szpinda, prof. UMK has been appointed as the Rector’s Proxy for Student Affairs at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz for the period from 1st January 2014 until 31st August 2016.
Scope of duties of the Proxy:
Maintaining regular contacts with students’ and doctoral students’ associations functioning at Collegium Medicum, particularly with the Students’ Self-Government, the Doctoral Students’ Self-Government and the Students’ Scientific Association.

We would like to inform that transfers to the Medical Programme in English at the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz are not possible during the academic year. We only enroll transfer students who have completed an academic year.
At the same time, we would like to invite prospective candidates to submit their applications for the 1st year of the MD Programme in English, as the recruitment process for foreigners is already underway.
A new issue of the scientific quarterly Folia Medica Copernicana has been published by the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum. ANSA (The Association of Norwegian Students Abroad) is a membership-based, non-profit organisation that might be of interest to current and prospective Norwegian students. The Association is a vast network of over 10 thousand members in more than 90 countries. It was established with the aim of supporting Norwegian citizens studying abroad and is open to new members.
The official inauguration of the academic year 2015/2016 will be held on 1st October 2015 at 11.00 a.m. at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Matriculation ceremony for the students of the Medical Program in English will take place on 2nd October 2015 at 3.00 p.m. in Aula A-B (Main Lecture Room) at 13 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz. Attendance is mandatory.
