SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE
3rd Marc 2015

On 23rd April 2015, starting at 12.00 noon CET, Collegium Medicum will be holding an online Virtual Open Doors Event devoted to anyone who wishes to see our University from the inside and hear our students and authorities talk about the educational and extracurricular offer, without having to leave the comfort of home. Why study at Collegium Medicum? Find out for yourself!

open doorsAt the end of this academic year, the first group of international graduates of the 6-year MD programme in English will part their ways with Collegium Medicum to take their first steps on the path of professional career. We are pleased to say that the internationalisation of our University has made constant progress since their arrival in Bydgoszcz. The growing number of candidates from abroad encouraged us to enrich our offer by two new programmes in English – nursing and physiotherapy. We also actively participate in the Erasmus+ student exchange programme, having so far signed agreements with nearly 40 higher education institutions from abroad.

Wishing to open our doors to the world even wider and meet our international candidates halfway, this year we will be holding our first online open doors event, hoping to reach prospective applicants in every corner of the world. On 23rd April 2015, starting at 12.00 noon CET, join us online via this website for a live transmission from our TV studio and a virtual tour of our University.

Why study at Collegium Medicum? Find out for yourself! The event will feature:

  • interviews with foreign students of the medical programme in English and Erasmus exchange students, who will talk about our school and city from the perspective of an international student;
  • interviews with representatives of the authorities and teaching staff, who will share a few words about our offer and the active steps we take towards development and internationalisation;
  • live course in surgical suturing – our students will demonstrate one of the many fascinating aspects of the job of a surgeon – the art of stitching up wounds;
  • a visit to our students – you will have the opportunity to see where and how they spend their leisure time and integrate with the Polish community;
  • cooking on screen – foreign students will try their hand at preparing traditional Polish dishes to show you the richness and variety of Polish cuisine;
  • a virtual tour of our university – you will have the opportunity to picture yourself in classrooms, laboratories and hospital rooms available to our students – it might be the perfect place for you!

OpenDay2014Just as each year, on 31st March 2015 we will also be holding an Open Doors event on the premises of the University, providing prospective candidates with a unique opportunity to see the university from the inside, participate in introductory workshops, ask current students about anything concerning their studies, see our students and graduates in action during a simulated accident or terrorist attack, and find out about the recruitment process for any of the 15 offered fields of study.

You are more than welcome to join us online and in person!
