On 1st March 2016, a significant agreement was signed between prof. Jan Styczyński, Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, and Michał Kępowicz, Director of the Department of European Funds of the Ministry of Health. The contract ensures the financing of the project entitled “Development of medical teaching through instructional simulation at the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum”.

We are delighted to invite you to the International MEDical Interdisciplinary Congress – iMEDIC 2016 Bydgoszcz. The event will be held on 11 June 2016 in the Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. iMEDIC 2016 Bydgoszcz is an excellent opportunity for PhD students and young scientists to present scientific papers covering issues in the field of medical, pharmaceutical and health sciences.
A team of specialists from the University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz was the first in the region to perform an innovative endovascular procedure in a patient with cerebral stroke. The team included medical professionals from the Centre for Interventional Management of Stroke and Interventional Radiology Laboratory functioning within the Hospital.
The official opening of the new suite of the Outpatient Clinic for Chronic Wound Management took place on 23 February 2016 in the Antoni Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz.

Celebrated each year on February 14, St. Valentine’s Day is a feast in the honour of the patron of those who are looking for and those who have already found their second halves. It is worth mentioning, however, that the said saint is also a patron of patients in convalescence, which is why we would like to wish the ill a speedy recovery so that they could join in the Feast of St. Valentine.
