Another Collegium Medicum Scientist in a PAN Committee

PAN logo angWe are delighted to report another notable achievement of a Collegium Medicum academic. Prof. dr hab. Olga Haus, head of the Department of Clinical Genetics at the Faculty of Medicine of NCU Collegium Medicum, has been appointed a member of the Committee on Human Genetics and Molecular Pathology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) for the term 2016-2020.

Jan Styczyński from the Department of Paediatrics, Haematology and Oncology at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz has been appointed the chair of the Infectious Diseases Working Party (IDWP) of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) for the term 2016-2020 and, consequently, a member of the management board of the Society.

Polish Volleyball Championships for Medical Universities

New Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum

Prof. Grażyna Odrowąż-SypniewskaThe elections for Vice-Rectors of the Nicolaus Copernicus University for the term 2016-2020 were held on 23 March 2016 in Toruń. Prof. dr hab. Grażyna Odrowąż-Sypniewska from the Faculty of Pharmacy was elected the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum. Prof. dr hab. Jacek Kubica from the Faculty of Medicine was elected the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research.

Bydgoszcz St. Patrick’s Days

Irish2 18032016St. Patrick’s Day is undoubtedly one of the most popular festivities celebrated internationally. This year, for the first time, the joyful atmosphere also reached Bydgoszcz. Various events and attractions were prepared especially for Bydgoszcz St. Patrick’s Days, which were held on 18-19 March 2016. The event was combined with the visit of a group of Irish candidates for the Medical Program in English at Collegium Medicum.

Photography exhibition „The Nepalis” We would like to invite you to a unique photography exhibition entitled „The Nepalis”, which will be hosted by Collegium Medicum as a tribute to the victims of the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. It will be held from 17 March 2016 in Building A at 13 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz.
