of the Vice-Rector for the Collegium Medicum

on the obligation of the NCU Collegium Medicum students taking classes on the premises of hospitals to vaccinate against Covid-19
We are looking for students who would like to help international students coming to NCU Collegium Medicum as part of the Erasmus+ program. Do you remember first weeks in foreign country, when everything seems to be fascinating, but strange, often difficult and you felt lonely?
IFMSA-Poland, Bydgoszcz Branch, is once again joining a great and much needed action, in which it is you who can help others in need!
By the decision of the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń prof. dr hab. Andrzej Sokala, 12 November will be free from classes.
– The awarded discoveries in the area of human physiology help us understand the mysteries about the way our body’s function: why do we feel cold while brushing our teeth with menthol or why touching your eyes after chopping a spicy pepper is not a good idea? – explains Dr. Sławomir Kujawski from the Faculty of Health Sciences of Collegium Medicum, NCU.
All Saints’ Day (Wszystkich Świętych) on 1 November is celebrated as a national holiday in Poland. This means that government offices, schools, universities, banks and many private businesses are closed. As in many other countries, this day is celebrated solemnly as a public holiday during which people visit the graves of loved ones. On that day, Polish cemeteries are alight with thousands of candles.
