All Saints’ Day (Wszystkich Świętych) on 1 November is celebrated as a national holiday in Poland. This means that government offices, schools, universities, banks and many private businesses are closed. As in many other countries, this day is celebrated solemnly as a public holiday during which people visit the graves of loved ones. On that day, Polish cemeteries are alight with thousands of candles.

This means that 1 November 2021 is a day off for students and university staff. Additionally, by the decision of the University’s authorities, there will be Rector’s hours (no classes) on 2 November 2021 (Tuesday) until 12:00 noon for all students of NCU Collegium Medicum.
