DIRECTIVE NO. 178 of the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń of 8 September 2020 on the organisation of education at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021
In connection with the upcoming new academic year 2020/2021 and the current situation related to the spreading of SARS-CoV-2, we would like to inform you that the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University, wishing to ensure the security of the academic community, has made the decision that didactic classes at the higher education studies, postgraduate and doctoral studies, in doctoral schools and other forms of education at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in the winter semester of the 2020/2021 academic year will, as a rule, take place remotely.
The University Electoral Committee announced the candidates for deans of faculties at the Nicolaus Copernicus University for the term 2020-2024. The nomination are yet to be approved by the rector-elect, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Sokala. The term of office of the new deans begins on 1 October 2020.
We are pleased to inform you that the University Libraries are gradually opening. It is now possible to borrow books. Students can order books via e-mail and pick them up from the library at the designated time.

On 30 April 2020, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Sokala – the rector-elect of the Nicolaus Copernicus University – appointed five new vice-rectors for the term 2020-2024.
