IFMSA is the world’s oldest and largest independent organization representing associations of medical students from all over the world. The local Bydgoszcz branch of IFMSA-Poland is setting up a group for English Division students and is looking for more volunteers to join its ranks.

Another edition of Medicalia Science Day, organised annually by NCU Collegium Medicum, took place on 2 December 2017. Our university was visited by nearly 800 enthusiastic young people interested in medical and health-related sciences.
Christmas events with IFMSA-Poland Join us for this year’s edition of the “Teddy bear under the hospital Christmas tree” campaign! All profits from two major events – Christmas cake fair (6 December 2017) and Christmas concert (8 December 2017) – will be used entirely for charity-based projects.
Dr Piotr Merks from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at NCU Collegium Medicum has been invited to participate in a session of the British Parliament devoted to the role of pharmacists in improving the safety of drug use among patients.
Clinical teaching facilities for NCU Collegium Medicum students are going to be modernised and extended – the Jan Biziel University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz is going to receive substantial funding for development.
An information meeting for English Division students concerning Erasmus+ exchange will be held on 14th November 2017 (Tuesday) at 1.30 pm in room 9 of Collegium Medicum Library Building.
The Department of Palliative Care would like to kindly invite our students to the Winter Summit in Palliative Medicine: “Heart and Spirit in Palliative Care”, which will be held on 1-2 December 2017 in Bydgoszcz.
