Prof. dr hab. Jacek Kubica and his research team received a subsidy awarded in a contest run by the Medical Research Agency (ABM). The main objective of the contest is to support non-commercial clinical trials.

In relation to introducing the state of epidemic threat in Poland, the Minister of Science and Higher Education has decided that the validity of all student IDs shall be automatically extended until 31 May 2020. There is no need to personally visit the dean’s offices in order to prolong your ID validity.
By the decision of the Prime Minister of Poland, ALL classes are cancelled for the period 12-25 March 2020 (2 weeks).
On 12 March 2020 starting from 3 p.m. at the University (in Toruń and Bydgoszcz) there will be Rector’s hours (no classes) due to Rector’s election.
Collegium Medicum welcomed new Erasmus students who arrived in Bydgoszcz from Albania, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey. Their Polish Study Buddies helped them to face the challenges of their new reality. We welcomed our guests in a traditional Polish way – with bread and salt, whereas they brought traditional snacks from their home countries. Later, we walked around the city together and visited Museum of Soap and Dirt, where we had soap-making workshops.
