We are pleased to inform that Vegard Danielsen, a sixth year student of the Medical Program in English at Collegium Medicum, took the first place in the 5-kilometre run along the Kamienna Street in Bydgoszcz. The event was held on 12 June 2016 and was open to runners of all abilities.
We are pleased to inform that Vegard Danielsen, a sixth year student of the Medical Program in English at Collegium Medicum, took the first place in the 5-kilometre run along the Kamienna Street in Bydgoszcz. The event was held on 12 June 2016 and was open to runners of all abilities.
Nearly 800 participants took part in the run, including representatives of Collegium Medicum (23rd place – Kristoffer Moe, 24th place – Truls Albert, 88th place – Roland Wesołowski). As a medical university, we place a particular emphasis on healthy lifestyle and attitudes, and sport plays a significant role in the lives of many of our students.
As a Collegium Medicum student, Vegard took top places several times in sporting events organised by the university and by the city of Bydgoszcz, often competing against several hundred participants. His latest success will most probably be the last one as our student, as he and nineteen other English-speaking students will soon become graduates of our 6-year MD Program in English.
The graduation ceremony for English Division students will be held on 22 June 2016 at 12.00 p.m. in the Main Lecture Room at 9 Curie-Skłodowskiej Street in Bydgoszcz.
