Our foreign guests, students of Erasmus+ Program, have been acquainting themselves with our city for the last few days already. Yesterday, they started their classes at our University. It has become our tradition to organize a welcome meeting with culinary specialties that our Erasmus students bring from all over Europe. Our Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and Italian students were also welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine – prof. dr hab. Zbigniew Włodarczyk, who wished them a successful and pleasant stay.
We took a walk in the Old Market and the Mill Island and savored the specialties of our national cuisine – among them being pancakes with different stuffing as well as broth and sour rye soup.
Each Erasmus student gets the assistance of a Polish Study Buddy – a guardian angel who helps to deal with culture shock and any obstacles our guests could possibly encounter in a new reality.
We hope that their stay at Collegium Medicum will be an unforgettable adventure!
