A new system of awarding academic teachers and researchers for high-impact publications was introduced at the Nicolaus Copernicus University at the beginning of this year. Rector’s scholarships were awarded to several scholars, including two academics from NCU Collegium Medicum: dr hab. Maria Kłopocka and dr hab. Sławomir Jeka, prof. UMK.

Maria Kłopocka – vice-dean for education and development at the Faculty of Health Sciences of NCU Collegium Medicum and employee of the Department of Vascular and Internal Diseases – for paper: „Clinical remission in patients with moderate-to-severe Crohn`s disease treated with filgotinib (the FITZROY study): results from a phase 2, double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial” published in The Lancet
- dr hab. Sławomir Jeka, prof. UMK – head of the Department of Rheumatology and Connective Tissue Diseases (Faculty of Health Sciences of NCU Collegium Medicum) – for paper: A multicentre randomised controlled trial to compare the pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety of CT-P10 and innovator rituximab in patients with rheumatoid arthritis” published in Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases
