The 3R Modular company from Michałowice has submitted the most favourable bid for the construction of a teaching building for the NCU Centre for Dentistry. It is expected to be available for researchers and students as early as October 2026.
The NCU Centre for Dentistry building will be built on the grounds of the Jan Biziel University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz. The four-story facility, with a total usable area of more than 4,500 sq. m., will house modernly equipped seminar and lecture halls, a test examination centre and full technical and logistical facilities, enabling the training of paediatric dentists, orthodontists, radiologists, dental surgeons, periodontists and prosthodontists.
The investment will be carried out under the “design and build” system. The building will be erected using modular technology, with a structural steel frame. The modules will be as large and highly prefabricated as possible, which will significantly shorten the time of investment implementation.
Three companies competed for the design and construction agreement: Arcus Technologie from Celestynów, TECHBAU Budownictwo from Raszyn and 3R Modular from Michałowice. The cheapest bid, amounting to PLN 68.7 million, was submitted by the third of them. The other two proposals exceeded PLN 72.5 million. The agreement with the successful contractor is scheduled to be signed on Wednesday, May 7. From then on, the company will have 100 days to obtain a construction permit.
