Prof. Kornelia Kędziora-Kornatowska, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and head of the Department of Geriatrics at the said faculty, has been elected Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum. The nomination is yet to be approved by the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. The final decision should be made within the coming days. The term of office of the new Vice-Rector begins on 1 October 2020.
The elections were held on 27 April 2020 by way of electronic voting. Votes were cast by 60 electors representing the staff and students of the University. There were two candidates for the post: prof. Kornelia Kędziora-Kornatowska and prof. Zbigniew Włodarczyk, the current Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
