Bydgoszcz Science Festival [Bydgoski Festiwal Nauki] is an annual popular-science event organised by universities and non-academic institutions since 2010. It is held under the slogan ‘Get hooked on Science’ and its main aim is to popularise science, culture and art among residents of Bydgoszcz and the whole region. The Festival gives all its participants an opportunity to get a first-hand experience of how fascinating and inspiring science can be.
Collegium Medicum is proud to be one of the organisers of the Festival, together with the four other major universities in Bydgoszcz.
This year’s edition will be held between 24-27 May, and as always, the program will be divided into thematic paths: humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, exact sciences, the arts, technical sciences, medical and health sciences, and a thematic day. The event will take the form of workshops, lectures, demonstrations, experiments, discussions, exhibitions, and concerts.
On the last day of the Festival (27 May), a Science Picnic will be held at the Mill Island [Wyspa Młyńska], during which many stage events, performances, shows, concerts and suchlike will take place between 12.00 – 8.00 pm.
Since the offer is addressed primarily to the citizens of Bydgoszcz, all the Festival’s events will be held in Polish. More details can be found on the official website of the Festival >>
