On 30th September 2024, our first-year students attended the introductory meeting with prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Jawień, Director of the Centre for Medical Education in English.
The meeting was honoured by speeches of Medicine and Nursing programme alumni and presentations of organisations such as Irish Student Overseas, Multicultural Student Association and CM Student Self-Government.
Students also had the opportunity to watch a video of the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, prof. dr hab. Dariusz Grzanka, officially welcoming them to the University.
After the meeting, our newly welcomed students were taken on a short trip – members of the Multicultural Student Association and our Physiotherapy students showed them the Antoni Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 facilities and the most important University buildings.
We are happy that so many new students joined our academic community and we hope that the coming years will be filled with enjoyable experiences that will help them develop, both academically and personally!
