Dr hab. Michał Szpinda, prof. UMK has been appointed as the Rector’s Proxy for Student Affairs at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz for the period from 1st January 2014 until 31st August 2016.
Scope of duties of the Proxy:
- Maintaining regular contacts with students’ and doctoral students’ associations functioning at Collegium Medicum, particularly with the Students’ Self-Government, the Doctoral Students’ Self-Government and the Students’ Scientific Association.
- Maintaining regular contacts with Vice-Rectors for Student Affairs functioning at Collegium Medicum faculties.
- Supporting and encouraging scientific, cultural and sports initiatives undertaken by Collegium Medicum students.
- Assisting Collegium Medicum students in organizing the most important events and affairs (e.g. Juwenalia – Students’ Feast).
- Monitoring the process of recruitment of candidates into Collegium Medicum.
- Cooperating with the administrative offices of Collegium Medicum in solving social and healthcare issues and assisting disabled students.
- Cooperating with the Academic Ombudsman of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in addressing issues raised by Collegium Medicum students.
Duty hours of the Rector’s Proxy for Student Affairs at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz:
- regularly: on 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 12.00 p.m. – 1.00 p.m. in the CM Department of Didactic Affairs (ul. Jagiellońska 13, building A, 2nd floor, room 11)
- urgent issues: Chair and Department of Normal Anatomy (ul. Łukasiewicza 1, 1st floor, room 40) in Bydgoszcz
