This year’s edition of the Open Day at NCU Collegium Medicum was held on 13 April 2018.
The Open Day is an annual event providing prospective candidates with a unique opportunity to see the university from the inside, participate in introductory workshops, ask current students about anything concerning their studies, and find out about the recruitment process for any of the offered fields of study. The event included a meeting with the university’s authorities as well as many interesting presentations, workshops, sample lectures and a surprise show prepared by our Academic Society for Emergency Medicine – a simulated suicide attempt.
This year, a new and unique element was added to the program of this special day. For the first time in the history of our Open Days, English Division students were actively involved in the event – they conducted a series of lectures on human osteology in English followed by an anatomy pin test. Our guests had an opportunity to get an insight into basic human anatomy and become a student of Collegium Medicum for one day.
