The 12th Nicolaus Copernicus University Tennis Championships for the cups of the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum organised by the Department of Principles of Physical Culture were held on 20 May 2017.
The 12th Nicolaus Copernicus University Tennis Championships for the cups of the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum organised by the Department of Principles of Physical Culture were held on 20 May 2017.
Competitions were held in the cup system (men) and group system (women). The weather was perfect for the occasion and the level of the tournament was very high. The cups and trophies were funded by the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, prof. dr hab. Grażyna Odrowąż-Sypniewska, and in-kind prizes and many other gifts were presented by a representative of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Regional Medical Chamber in Toruń.
Women’s finals:
– 1st place: Marcela Czerwińska – 5th year, Laboratory Medicine CM (6:4; 6:3)
– 2nd place: Anna Bacza – 5th year, Medicine CM (6:3; 7:5)
– 3rd place: Hanna Mackiewicz-Nartowicz – CM Department of Phoniatrics and Audiology (2:6; 3:6; 3:6; 5:7)
Men’s finals:
– 1st place: Patryk Niekraszewicz – 1st year, Medicine CM (6:3; 6:3)
– 2nd place: Michał Mietła – 1st year, Medicine CM (3:6; 3:6)
– 3rd place: Jakub Woźniak – 4th year, Medicine CM (4:6; 6:4; 7:2)
– 4th place: Olgierd Nartowicz – Fontes-med Medical Centre (6:4; 4:6; 2:7)
