Research VIPs at Collegium Medicum

Prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Leksowski, head of the Department of Public Health, and dr Anna Rosiek from the Department of Public Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences of NCU Collegium Medicum, became members of the World Clinical Consultation & Collaboration Union for the years 2016-2017.


Leading expert among our academics

Prof. dr hab. n. med. Wojciech Zegarski, head of the Department of Oncological Surgery at the Faculty of Health Sciences of NCU Collegium Medicum, has been honoured for his outstanding clinical and research activity in the field of surgical oncology with two significant nominations: to the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology and the Polish Club of Coloproctology.

Welcome party and no classes!

Join us at the Student Welcome Party which will take place on 6 October 2016 (Thursday) in the Savoy Club starting at 9.00 pm at 2 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz. Everyone is welcome! By the decision of the NCU Rector, on 7 October 2016 (Friday) there will be Rector’s hours (hours with no classes) until 12.00 pm.


The Best Graduate 2015/2016

We are delighted to inform you that the title of the Best Graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in the academic year 2015/16 was awarded to mgr Joanna Siminska from the Faculty of Health Sciences of NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. In 2014, the laureate graduated from the Physiotherapy program, and in 2016 – from the Emergency Medical Science program. She is currently a doctoral student in the field of medical sciences.


4th Joint EFLM-UEMS Congress

The 4th Joint EFLM-UEMS Congress was held between 21-24 September 2016 in Double Tree by Hilton conference centre in Warsaw. The central theme of the conference was: Laboratory Medicine at the Clinical Interface. The Congress was the biggest such event devoted to the fields of laboratory medicine and clinical diagnostics in Europe in 2016.
