On 19th October 2014, the 2nd Half-Marathon of Bydgoszcz once again brought together over a thousand runners who wished to take up the challenge and test their perseverance. The route ran through the streets of Bydgoszcz and the distance was 21.097 km. Among the competitors, there were four students of the medical programme in English at Collegium Medicum. Vegard Danielsen, who is currently in the fifth year of study, crossed the finish line as the second runner overall. He covered the distance in an amazing time of 1:14:22 and thus set a new personal record, beating the one from last year’s edition of the Half-Marathon, which had then given him the second place as well.
