On April 9, in the beautiful building of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the establishment of studies in English at NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. This wonderful anniversary was attended by more than 600 special guests. We were honoured to host the representatives of the voivodeship, city and university authorities, recruiters, lecturers, representatives of NCU CM administration employees, students and graduates of the programmes taught in English as well as many other distinguished guests.
After presenting the history of the establishment and development of studies in English at NCU CM, prof. Arkadiusz Jawień, the Director of the Centre for Medical Education in English at NCU CM, acknnowledged those who contributed to the establishment of studies in English and those who currently support the activities of the Centre for Medical Education in English.
Afterwards, the representatives of students honored some lecturers with beautiful statuettes. This unique event was highlighted by vocal and dancing performances of students from Ireland, Nigeria, Taiwan and India. The audience could also enjoy performances by the Collegium Medicum Choir under the direction of prof. Janusz Stanecki and mgr Anna Kocent and a performance by the Ziemia Bydgoska Song and Dance Ensemble.
